Victor's, Hale - review

Possibly one of the most aesthetic lunch venues in the North..

You know when you go somewhere and instantly want to take pictures of everything? Victor's in Hale is definitely one of those places!

The whole decor is beautifully designed with an authentic, rustic vibe. Rather than a feature wall, Victor's has a blanket of faux lavender flowers draped across the ceiling, intertwined with tiny lights which instantly catch your eye as you enter.

I came here for a mid week treat last week with Connor and our sisters, we were all starving so we decided to order a starter each and share them between us. This was great because we all then got a chance to taste different things. We ordered Tempura Prawns, Chicken Lollipops, Lobster Tacos and Parmesan Asparagus. Victor's pride themselves on giving a 'casual fine dining' experience which I definitely agree with after my visit.

The chicken was amazing but to be honest all four dishes went down a treat. As you can see from the pictures the chef's at Victor's take pride in their presentation as well as their cooking, which for me makes all the difference. The attention to detail meant every dish came out to the same exemplary standard, and this consistency continued through to the service which was great throughout our time there.

We then ordered main meals, A mixture of sushi and European dishes. Heather ordered Beef Teriyaki Sushi for her first ever Sushi experience and she is now officially a Sushi lover!

Victor's was a fab place for my sister to taste Sushi for the first time as they have their own Japanese Sushi chef and everything is made fresh to order. This came as a surprise to me because a lot of the menu is more European so to see the corner of the room be set aside as a sushi bar was really impressive.

We passed on the cocktails on this occasion however next time I will definitely be treating myself to one from the list.

I would definitely recommend giving this place a visit if you're in the area or ever fancy a trip out to Hale, you won't be disappointed in the food or the service which were both to a really high standard.

Ps Thanks to my good friend Laura for recommending the place it went down a treat haha!
