Basically, a round up of good food and delicious cocktails..
I thought I'd put together a slightly different post today, I thought it could be a good idea to show you a few things I got up to this week, but instead of rambling, I'll let you just nosy through a few pictures I took. Here we go..
Last Saturday (12th) Hudson Smokehouse, St Helens
Jade and I went here for food and drinks, it was gorgeous! The food was served super quick and the staff were all so friendly! We both commented on how all the staff couldn't do enough for us, from entering the restaurant, right up until we left. The interior was so impressive, it makes you forget you're in St. Helens for a minute! Beaut.
Monday (14th) - that Missguided sale
Casually checked my emails in work on Monday morning to see this. 50% off everything. Yes I did the same as what apparently every other girl in the UK did and clicked the link. I bought nothing because the site kept crashing and kicking me off. Great start to the week!
Side note; I did make a stop at Boots on my way home from work and purchased the new Loreal Infalliable Sculpt range. I will, of course, be reviewing the range once I've had chance to test it out properly!
Tuesday (15th) A day in Manchester
Jade and I had a day out in Manchester to celebrate her birthday. We started with a Home Sweet Home breakfast (of course!) then did some shopping, before finishing with dinner and cocktails at The Alchemist. Jade had the flavour changing drink which tasted lovely and I asked for one off the old menu that I think is called The Garden. Delish.
I was lucky enough to be invited along to the Natural Beauty event with Holland & Barrett at the Albert Shed in Castlefield, Manchester. I'll be doing a full write up of the day, but I must say I've never been to such an informative event! It really opened my eyes to the ingredients that go into a lot of products, but I'll go into that more in the write up.
Saturday (19th) The night we ate way too much..
The night out in Liverpool for Jade's birthday turned into a makeup free, pyjama sort of night. Obviously this included Chinese takeaway, watching Clueless, and eating unicorn cupcakes. Our idea of a perfect Saturday night!
